Nobody forgets a great party, and yours is going to be simply fabulous!! is a friendly bespoke business based in North Devon, set up and run by a mummy of two, Katie. I have always had a strong passion for events, working with small and large businesses, families, makeup and design.

At!, we are focused on providing bespoke party services with the highest levels of customer satisfaction – we will do everything we can to exceed your expectations.

If you are planning a wedding or party and really would like something a little different we are here to help. We can offer services dressing and designing one particular area, several or the whole thing. If you are having a DIY wedding why not do things a little differently- we can help advise and get you thinking outside the traditional wedding box. You really don't want your wedding to be same old, same old!

Terms and Conditions

In these terms and conditions of hire, the following meanings shall apply:

“we, us, our, I , my” refers to! and beach hut booth sole trader, Katie Stevens, or referring to all car hire quirky car hire sole trader Neil Stevens.

“you, your” refers to the named person on the booking.

“your hire" means all arrangements and items sourced and organised for you by us.

We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time and you should therefore check them each time you hire items from us. The terms and conditions applying to your hire will be those in place on the date that you make your reservation.

Prices quoted for Items to be hired, are for a three day period, unless otherwise specified on your booking form

This is based on:

day one-delivery day

day two-day of event

day three- collection day

Our normal hours of operation are 0900-1700 Monday to Friday. 

Items may be hired for longer than three days, subject to availability.This may incur an additional fee for each day and this is agreed upon reservation of items.

If items are requested to be collected outside this time frame or hours or operation they maybe subject to a surcharge starting from £50

Some offers may be quoted on a 24hr hire rate which will be stated on the offer.

To obtain an offer price, a deposit must be paid within the offer time, otherwise full hire charges will apply.

light up LOVE letters are hired for a 24 hour period.

LOVE letters are tested upon arrival and have a full safety check prior to each use.They are for interior use and use upon a hard floor. They should never be sat/climbed/have drinks containers put upon or otherwise misused. They are subject to a damage deposit £60-200 at our discretion, as agreed in your booking form reservation.

Any damaged or missing items will be chargeable and payable by you at the replacement cost.

Table Linen- cloths, runners and napkins

If wine, food or candle wax or any other substance stains the linen, or fabric are torn, burnt, damaged, the replacement cost will be chargeable and payable by you.

Prices given in quotes stand for seven days..

Items wanted for hire and services can be secured with a non-refundable booking fee,  subject to availability. 

On payment of your booking fee you hereby to having read and agreeing with our terms and conditions. 

Booking fees are chargeable for admin and work incurred for your booking.

Full payment is required by one month before the hire date or on the terms sent in the initial agreement. If payment is not recieved by one month before, the booking fee will be retained and items/item maybe released to hire to another party.


Upon cancellation In writing, Booking fees are always retained and are non refundable as we incur work prior to your event. 

Cancellations between twelve to six months of your event- booking fee is retained and half the remaining money of the full booking amount will be payable to Katie Stevens. In events and weddings we take most booking ps a year to six months in advance and due to the nature of the event of a wedding, last minute bookings tend not to happen. 

Cancellation within six to one month of your date, all monies retained by Katie Stevens of! And Beach Hut Booths. Full payment must be paid to Katie Stevens in this time. This stands for hire items, styling, planing, coordination, all services, photobooths. 

In unforeseen circumstances, illness, extreme weather,  acts of god, in you cancelling monies are still payable to Katie Stevens. 

full payment is due no later than one month before the hire date-or if booked within one month all monies are due upon booking.

 if monies are not paid on time then we reserve the right to change the hire plan accordingly.

if monies are not paid on time we reserve the right to decide what happened to hire items items may be hired to other parties or may no longer be available and full booking fee will be retained, full payment from yourselves will still be payable.  if within the month of hire all monies paid to this point will be retained.

We recommend you have wedding insurance. 

if full payment is not received by one month before the event date, any monies paid will be retained and items may not be available for hire.

payment plan payments are non refundable, and are set out in writing at the time of agreement.

Katie of! retains the right to retain hire items if the location becomes unsafe or there are differences in the venue than she has been led to believe.

if adverse weather conditions occur, design plans may have to change, and Katie retains the right to not have items outside and re plan the design.

In the event of extreme weather or road conditions which result in us being unable to safely deliver or collect the hire goods, we reserve the right to alter the arrangements for delivery or collection and shall not be liable to for any losses or costs to you that may arise as a result.

We reserve the right to cancel in extreme circumstances that make your hire unviable for us, up to and including the day of your hire. We are the ruling party on deciding if the hire is unviable and we will not be liable for any compensation or additional costs you may incur as a result of our cancellation.

if the client moves items without consent and prior agreement with katie and damage occurs to an item, the client is liable for full replacement or fixing charges.

all hire items are hired on the condition they are for inside use, unless written permission has been obtained prior to the event. if you move the items to outside, you will be liable for any damage or replacement costs.

Delivery and collection is added if required and is chargeable at a rate of 45p per mile.


We will be with you in a stated time As agreed in your booking,  on the day before the event and on the day. 

If you require additional time, this may be possible on request an our agreement and is subject to availability and will incur an additional charge. 

If additional duties or staffing are required within the running of an event due to unexpected occurrences, or a delay in time, subject to availability we will provide this but you will incur an additional charge. 

Safety and behaviour of guests during coordination of events.  We aim to run a wonderful day for you, we do reserve the right to have any guest deemed unsafe to us or others removed during your event. 

In the event of a guest vomiting or other bodily secretions we are not responsible for cleaning and sanitising this area. We do reserve the right to restrict access to an area if this is to occur.

We are not responsible for the safety of live flames at any event that we coordinate or style. 

delivery and collection charges

With our styling packages delivery and collection and travel time will be stated within your quote. 


If you are hiring on a prop or decor hire basis, we are not obliged to set the items up. Please ensure you have someone on hand who is prepared to set up the items; our delivery drivers are drivers only. Some items require two or more people to assemble or setup. We will let you know upon booking which items these are.

If you are hiring on a styling plan, set up of the props and equipment will be provided and agreed on booking. Additional styling or styling of items that are not within the plan will be subject to an additional cost, however we reserve the right to not take on any additional styling unless agreed at least 14 days prior to the event.

If you require set up or styling from us upon our arrival, we can agree this subject to our availability and this will be chargeable and must be paid within the following 24 hours. 

we are not liable for any additional styling costs that you may incur form other parties.

We have the right to refuse a booking to you if we feel the items are not suited to the purpose of your hire, or if you, your company or your event contradicts our company ethos.

we have the right to not deliver items if we find we have been led to believe items will be secure and it is find the venue is unsuitable and it becomes apparent that items will not be secure during the hire. full monies will be retained by us.

Items for hire are of an aged quality and are for decorative purposes.

items may differ slightly from photographs, due to filters or photography equipment used) however we try to show a true representation of our props.

We carry out risk assessments for all our items to ensure items are handled and used correctly. Electrical items are safety checked before each use. All items are checked before and after hire and undergo regular maintenance. Due to the nature and age of some of the hire items they may not meet current EC regulations. We do everything we can to ensure the safety and safe handling of the items. 

Fabrics are washed and any items for dressing up, ie photobooth props are cleaned inbetween hires. 

for Styling plans, bespoke items may be purchased on your behalf. When items are purchased on your behalf they will be the property of us unless we have written agreement that they will belong to you. 

items are subject to delivery and collection by us unless otherwise agreed.

it may be agreed in writing that you will be collecting and returning items, this will be subject to a damage deposit being left and returned on their safe return and in the condition that they left.

on delivery of items we will need to have adequate parking within 10m of the venue. if there are any parking charges, they will be charged to you.

if we find parking is not adequate we reserve the right to withdraw the hire. monies will not be refunded.

It is your responsibility to ensure there is legal parking available to carry out the delivery and collection. We will not be held responsible for any costs incurred out of the necessity to park or if we are unable to deliver the items due to a lack of legal parking.

A guide time for delivery and collection can be sometimes given upon booking, if requested. However, please note that this is subject to change in order to fit in other bookings. We will contact you around 7 days before your event date to confirm times and days. Please note that if you have specifications on delivery or collection that are not compatible with these times or days, a surcharge will be applicable.

Where possible we provide you with an am or pm time slot. 

we may liaise independently with a venue to check delivery and set up and break down arrangements are possible. if we find they are not possible within the time we do not have to deliver and may not be able to set up.

upon arrival at a venue if we find it is unsuitable for safety reasons we withhold the right to withdraw hire items and costs will still stand.

upon arrival of a venue items must be received by a named person and cannot be left outside.

On completion of set up/ delivery, we will have checked that the items are in good condition and are as advertised, or listed in our agreement. we always check and advise with or a named person that we have completed the delivery/set up prior to our departure. if no nobody I available at this time, we have checked that all items are delivered and that we have completed the styling set up within the brief. No complaint on the condition or quality of the items will be valid at a later stage if concerns have not been raised, or if inspection has not occurred before we leave the venue/set up, or within seven days after the set up. You may not request a reduction/refund on payment based on quality or condition of our items if not raised within seven days of delivery/set up.

upon arrival at a venue the space will need to be available to commence styling. we are not responsible for clearing furniture from a space or for moving furniture not hired from us unless agreed prior to the event and this will be subject to an additional charge. 

if a venue is not ready for setting up at the agreed time, we cannot guarantee to be able to complete the style plan, no monies will be refunded.  

items will be received on delivery by a named person, we will check items back in on collection. if any item is missing or damaged upon return, we will inform you within seven days and damage deposit may be retained and you may be liable for additional replacement charges.

if you are unhappy with any hire item or styling, you need to inform us within seven days of the event/start date of the event. After this time no refund may be given and no refund may be asked for.

On return or collection of the items, we will not accept any goods other than those hired by you and specified on the order. We will notify you of any goods collected in error, which do not belong to us. Should they not be collected or a return arranged within 14 days, we reserve the right to dispose of them. Should you wish to have these items returned to you then it will be at your expense. It is your responsibility to organise and collate the items for collection or return.

Payment of your deposit is deemed an instruction of your booking. Items may be added, subject to availability and our own discretion. Items can also be swapped, subject to availability, up until 14 days before your event start date, but the value must not go below the agreed total hire value. If you wish to remove items but do not wish to take other items in exchange, no refunds or part refunds will be applicable. you will be billed for any additional hire value.

All equipment and hire items are the property of us and remain so at all times throughout your hire. 

After quotes are given, quotes are held for a seven day period. After this time, unless a deposit is paid, items maybe hired to other parties and costs will not stand, unless a deposit had been paid within the seven days.

If full monies due are not paid by seven days prior to the date of the booking, we hold no responsibility to provide the hire and hold no liability in this circumstance.

Written chalkboards are not guaranteed to last in wet weather- if its drizzly or pouring all writing may wash away! as stated earlier these are not for use outside, unless agreed.

Katie and! are not responsible for any injuries caused by any item hired or purchased. We are not responsible for any injury or damage to animals, property, persons or objects arising from the use of any equipment under hire. We shall not be liable for any direct, indirect or consequential loss, damage or additional costs that may arise as a result of the use of our hire items.

Katie at! holds public liability insurance.

Katie and! withhold the right to withdraw any item at any time.

Covid changes

If your event is cancelled due to government restrictions, your monies will transferred to your new date , this is only applicable with your existing plan at your original venue. 

If you decide to cancel your wedding or event no refunds will be given. 

You maybe charged an additional fee of up to £90 for Ppe and Additional admin, additional cleaning to meet covid secure standards

Where dates are postponed to over a year ahead of your original date, additional fees will be chargeable and added to your plan. 

Katie is covid secure trained and works with your venues with covid secure risk assessments.


This is a separate business operating under the sole trader Neil Stevens and all liaison should be through [email protected]

Katie Stevens is not the owner or has no responsibility for Quirky cars or Mr Bo Jangles vw hire. 

All of our cars are chauffeur driven by fully insured drivers. 

2cv car hire, is chauffeur driven please contact for further details- seat belts must be worn when in motion.

The Morris, VW Beetle, Riley and Austin do not have seat belts due to their age. This fine for a car of their age. lap belts are suitable for 12 years and over. Cars with no belts may have over threes in the back.

Passengers must remain seated whilst in motion in all cars.

The Morris, Riley, Jaguar,  vw beetle, vw bus and Austin are Chauffeur driven only.

Due to the age of our cars, if a car faces any mechanical problems it may have to be substituted for another- this may happen at short notice.

In the event of a car being put out of use before final payment- can refund the deposit or offer another vehicle.

if you change your mind about which car you would like from our collection, cars may be changed subject to availability and this may incur an additional cost.

in adverse or extreme weather conditions we will always do our best to get to you. however we reserve the right to decide if it is unsafe or becomes unsafe to travel. in the case of severe weather and us not being able to get to you, we are not liable for any additional costs you may face from other hires. refunds will not be given, however if your date chages due to extreme circumstances we will try to honor the new date subject to availability, but we do not have to if we are not able.

if we come across a surface that is unsuitable for the vehicle, we reserve the right to stop the vehicle and passengers may have to walk.

The driver reserves the right to drive passengers if they are deemed not safe to travel. If a passenger is deemed unsafe to travel, the driver can refuse entry or the passenger may be asked to leave. 

Open alcohol may not be consumed or taken in the vehicles. 

Additional journeys and passengers... if extra journeys are required on the day it is the drivers discretion to be able to run these in order to accommodate additional passengers. These will be subject to an additional charge. 

Items hired may be subject to a damage deposit being given on delivery of the item, initial deposit given or in the month before the date of the event- and returned on their safe return- and within seven days after the event. If damage has occurred or items are missing all of part of the deposit may be retained. You maybe liable for an additional charge.

any damaged caused by weather during the hire can result in loss of damage deposit and possibly an additional charge which could be seven times the hire price.

items will be checked on collection.

any flowers/candles remaining with items if not easily removable, may be taken with the hire items.

On payment of the non refundable deposit or on payment if within one month prior to your event, you are committing to agree to these terms and conditions


If you cancel your car booking deposits and any monies on a pre agreed payment plan will be retained.

If you cancel within 12-6 months half of the hire price is payable to Neil Stevens. If you cancel within six months all of the hire payment is payable. 

If you move your date and have to postpone, all monies are still payable as stated on your booking form. Where possible we will try to accommodate your new date within a 6 month period subject to availability.

 lil bo and lil billy must not be ridden on roads/highways- and are for use on private property- children must be supervised when using at all times. it is the responsibility of the carer/ parent of the child to supervise their child. there is a maximum ride weight of 35kg (approx 5 stone).
